Preparation for FET

Hi everyone, I am potentially about to start the process of planning a FET with an embryo frozen in 2022. We were very lucky to have success with a fresh transfer from that egg collection. In the lead up I did lots of prep in terms of diet and lifestyle, using ‘It Starts with an Egg’ as a guide, plus acupuncture. As a lot of those changes were to do with egg quality I’m not sure what I can do to encourage success with a FET. Does anyone have any recommendations re diet and lifestyle changes I could make? Thank you!

I’m in it now too. The lifestyle stuff and acupuncture still helps to support uterine lining. Brazil nuts, Vitamin E, water. Following for other tips.

I follow @ivf_baby_d on Instagram and a few months back she posted with the same question (post from 29th Jan, image is a cork board with a bottle of beetroot juice in front) - what do people do before an FET. At the time I created a list of all the things people said - some (like beetroot juice, pineapple and Brazil nuts) were really common, others just one person mentioned, and not sure on the evidence behind any of them, but I will be trying some of them.

Before sex and/or orgasm the night before & morning of FET Before & after daily walks (including brisk walk for 1 hour morning of transfer) Beetroot juice Pomegranate juice 2-3 Brazil nuts per day Pineapple including core (split into 5 portions and eaten for 5 days after FET) / pineapple core tea Acupuncture Warm soup & stews (only warm food & drink until 12 weeks) Keeping feet warm Bone broth Mantra: my embryo with implant, I will get pregnant, I will carry my baby to term After French Fries afterwards Laughing - funny videos after transfer Don’t shower for first 5 days (as after shower the body goes cold; to keep uterus warm)

I think the main things are eating a balanced diet, regular exercise, getting plenty of rest, and de-stressing

From acupuncturist as my lining too thin so this wouldn’t be necessary for all: Take bone broth, red meat other proteins leafy greens over next day/s also can do a castor oil compress on low abdomen and a huge dose of vitamin d to get that lining thicker
