Dirty nappies at night

My baby is just over 8 weeks and only wet nappies in the night for a good few weeks now, she does a big poo in the morning

Yes my baby also has a morning poo 🤣 just like her dad LOL

7 weeks and same. Big poo in the morning.

Same as my 9 week old!

Why wouldn't it be normal? It's what adults do so makes sense babies do the same, generally people don't poop while asleep 🥲

We also have a morning poo! He likes to do one right as he wakes up then does another whilst he’s getting his first bottle 😂

@Zoe ahaha they are just tiny people at the end of the day! I think digestion slows down when we sleep (that's why it's not good to eat too close to bedtime) so it makes sense to need a morning poop when things start up again. It's also why you don't really need to burp BF babies at night if you feed them laying down and they are kind of asleep, as soon as they wake up in the morning though they should burp
