I had my baby September 24 and husband was not allowed to stay. He could be there 9am-8pm. I found out afterwards that they are allowed to stay in Exeter, not 100% sure of the rules but wish I knew that before!
Thanks both, I saw Plymouth hospital were trialling it so didn't know if Torbay had started to do the same but I couldn't see anything on their website about it!
Following a Csection they can stay on delivery ward until whatever time (even if it’s passed 8pm) you’re transferred to John Mac Ward, then visiting times for John Mac are 9am - 8pm. I had an evening Csection so wasn’t transferred to John Mac until 1am 😅 I found them super helpful and lovely though, they done my boys nappies overnight for me as I wasn’t up and moving at that point xx
My husband wasn't allowed to stay with me overnight & that was 3 years ago.
