Bath after c section

I waited until around 3-4wks after with both of my c sections. I judged it based on how well I was healing and just made sure to keep an eye on my scar area for any signs of infection x

I waited till the stitches were removed by the midwife ( in Uk around 5/7 days )

2/3 weeks

7 weeks PP and still haven't had a bath yet! Still waiting for my incision to heal, also waiting for the doctors to sign me off. I have my appointment on the 30th and I cannot wait!

I got told we could soak it for at least 20mins during the healing time!😅 but I’ve not done that… we don’t have a shower unfortunately so I’ve had to have a small bath so not very deep at all but with my first I waited around the 6/7 week mark and just made sure it was definitely dry and kept checking to see if there were any signs of infection x

Oh I’m 3 weeks in and I’ve been having a bath since 2 weeks just making sure I don’t fill the bath too high and drying myself when I come out
