My daughter cries when I sing
So as the post says, my 2 and a half year old daughter cries when I sing, she’s fine with nursery rhymes etc but when I sing properly she cries and gets really upset. I’m very good at singing so it can’t be because it sounds awful so I don’t understand why she hates it so much. I’m just wondering if I’m doing something wrong that it upsets her so much. I love singing and so does she, she’s very good as well for her age so I’m hoping there’s a way I can figure out why it upsets her, I’d love to sing with my baby. Tia

No not recent she’s done it for a long time, its whenever I’m really singing, she gets so upset there’s actual tears 😢
Think that's with most girls you're not the only one lol my daughters 5 and she never lets me sing either she'll shout stop when we're in the car or we're ever she can hear me because she'll want to sing it's bizarre but I still carry on I just try and match my voice to the base that way she can't hear me 😂
@MariamOh ok. I was just thinking because she seems so emotional, crying like I’m breaking her heart. Not annoyed or angry but yeah maybe you’re right

Has this been a recent thing she’s started doing? I also can’t sing in the car as my little boy screams and tells me to shush, but it’s only been the past month. No advice unfortunately I’ve just put it down to age
