C Section mamas - when did you get back to fitness / exercise?

I’m due a c section next month, second child. I’ve put on a mass amount of weight because of pelvic girdle pain and unable to exercise. When did you get back to the gym/ light exercise etc post c section?

I had my 2nd beginning of December, was definitely not in a rush but started light exercise in February and did my first 5k around mid March ☺️ see how you feel! X

@Amy amazing! How did you feel? I’m hoping to get back into running but felt like it would be so far off! I did body attack / hitt classes before but assuming maybe I wont get back to that for some time.

I eased back into the running by walking 5k etc. online it advised waiting at least 12 weeks to begin running again due to the impact on your abdomen. I’m back to doing HIIT workouts now and feel great ☺️
