Opinions Please!
My boyfriends dad is in hospital after having a small op. He should be home in a couple days but my bf and his mum mentioned taking the baby (our 2 month old) to the hospital to see him. I just don’t think it’s needed for my LO to go and be exposed to hospital germs unnecessarily when he all going well will be home in a couple days. Do you guys agree or would you let your LO go?

Most wards won’t allow babies on the wards. Multiple wards I’ve worked on don’t allow children on the wards at all

I try to avoid taking my littles to hospital unless absolutely necessary. There’s been a few instances where I’ve had to go to ED for myself and since I don’t have a huge support network they had to tag along.

I wouldn't take my baby to a hospital unless it was for him or a relative was very ill
No, who's going to care for your LO if they fall ill? Your MIL and FIL wont be there up all night to care for the baby. So they can wait!
