I still avoid chocolate and sweets. I also avoid juice unless my l/o is unwell. When teething I allow a small amount of Icecream on days he hasn’t eaten but other than those exception I only allow my son a plain biscuit as a sweet treat

Nope! Mine loves it! Everything in moderation. He also demolishes vegetables and fruit. He eats sweetcorn and peas out of snack pots 🤣🤣

I've given her little bits of chocolate. Nothing wrong with a couple of chocolate buttons. Everything in moderation. She loves her fruit and veggies so it's a nice little treat every now and again.

I have given him chocolate here and there but no sweets at all, also I don’t do juice. Don’t feel bad at all x

One thing I’ve learned in motherhood is that just because others do don’t mean you have too don’t let no one make you feel bad about your choices x

To be honest even I’m still learning that

My little one has a chocolate button here and there. I agree with everything in moderation. Her fave food is broccoli so I’m not worried about it. She only drinks water as well. They are going to have it at some point so I feel if they’re already used to small bits they won’t tantrum over it in future. But every baby and every parent is different so do what’s right for you x

Absolutely not! The easter bunny brought him 2 packets of smoked salmon xx

@Sammie 😂😂😂😩

Allergic to dairy here. Easter bunny got him some toys and clothes. He did get cookies from daycare, but it'll be for me

@Elise 😂 his fav lol

No he hasn't had chocolate and we don't really do sweets, cake or things with much added sugar. He loves all foods and eats really well, and has plenty of sweet things like fruit or biscuits/muffins made with fruit to make it sweet. He's our first so he isn't seeing a sibling eating foods he can't have and he doesn't know any different so I personally just don't see the need to introduce it yet but I also definitely agree with others on everything in moderation. My family got him a few small gifts instead of chocolate, a couple of books, a top and a ball.

@Sammie love this! I gave my son two corn cobs at lunch for an Easter treat as they're his favourite 😂

Haven't done any salt and sugar yet, just don't see the point tbh

Mine had strawberries as that’s his fav food. I’ve offered bits of chocolate here and there and he hasn’t taken to it

He stole a bit twice. Once at 10 mo then at 13mo maybe? But never on purpose! They can't miss what they don't know. You are the only one who has to live with the decisions you make. You're the only one who has to sleep at night on it. There will be countless people who criticise how you Parent and say how they would do it differently. Let them. And in your head say "F you" 😅🙏❤️. There is no mum in the world who could make every childcare decision without triggering displeasure of at least one other adult around her with every single decision. We can't please everyone so it's better to just try to please yourself and do what you think is "good enough'. It's not illegal or child abuse to not give chocolate at easter

I don't usually but on special occasions I have.

Tiny bits of chocolate here and there! Nothing else that’s sugary though. Don’t feel guilty, what they haven’t tried yet, they can’t really miss!
