We’re about to ditch them at the end of our current pack. He wakes up dry 99% of the time nowadays so figure it’s time, a few months ago we’d have a really great dry run and then a few wet nights, but now it’s way more consistent. I haven’t been in any rush to do it because of the odd days he’d wake up wet and not wanting the hassle of changing wet bed sheets! But I think he’s probably ready now.
Won’t lie, she was dry overnight more or less straight away too as soon as she was toilet trained. Think we’ve had 1 possibly 2 wee accidents in the night. Bit of advice I received from a nurse when she had her tonsils out last year, was put some puppy training pads under the bedsheet, so if they do wet in the night it protects the mattress. Once you’re both comfortable obviously to take that next leap! X
Night time dryness is hormonal. The hormone develops in different people at different times, but the nhs say it can be as late as 7 and still be entirely normal. So please don’t stress either way.
Mine were both dry at night quite quickly after potty trained couple of accidents in 9 months but the last few weeks/month 1 has been wetting the bed quite a bit so much so I was thinking of putting her back in pull ups at night but still holding off and see how she goes hoping its a phase as she was completely dry for months.
Yeah my little boy still sleeps in a nappy not stopping it until he starts waking up dry. There's no harm in it, he wears underpants in the day. Xxx
