How likely is it to get pregnant postpartum with no period?

I’m two months postpartum and the condom broke.. I haven’t gotten a period yet and I’m breast feeding

It really just depends on your body and ovulation . I may be wrong but to “naturally stop ovulating with breastfeeding “ you have to exclusively breastfeed every 4 hours during the day and every 6 hours at night if im remembering what my ob said. That being said I have 3 friends who exclusively breastfed and got pregnant 2 and 3 months after having a baby .

it just depends on if you’re ovulating or not. maybe take an ovulation test?

My babies are February '24 and '25 babies. Exclusive breastfeeding when I got pregnant. It really just depends on your body. How often you feed *helps*, but isn't 100% either. I heal pretty quickly and my hormones go back to normal very quickly.

Depends on your body. I breastfed until 20 months and only then did I get my period a month and a half after quitting. My baby was breastfed on demand the entire time though so I know the more you nurse the less likely you are to ovulate.

@Izzie This. No way to know if you're even ovulating or not without taking an ovulation test and seeing.

Postpartum, you can ovulate without having a period first, so it's possible but you'll be really unlucky if that's happened only from this one time though. I would check if you can take the morning after pill just in case , moy sure if its compatible with breastfeeding

i got pregnant 9 months pp. after continuously having unprotected sex for 2 months. i didn’t think it would happen so fast. boy was i fooled. now i’ll have 3 under 2

You will ovulate before your first period so there's always a chance. Breastfeeding can delay your periods but this doesn't happen for everyone and it's difficult to predict when your cycle will return unless you are routinely checking signs of fertility.

The first time I had sex again, 2.5 months after I ended up pregnant. Baby 2 is due in a few weeks.

If you had it in the last 48 hours I still urge you to take a plan b if you’re not wanting another baby! Haha
