Seriously.. I wish my husband was more educated and knowledgeable when it comes to postpartum stage and postpartum rage

It’s really sad but my husband lacks education or the need to understand and learn certain things about women’s body and mind. It’s put me off lately and made me not appreciate the things he’s put me through after giving birth! Can anyone relate?

Honestly same. My husband doesn’t understand anything postpartum or during pregnancy. He thought/still thinks I’m making everything up about hormones even with my doctors telling him I’m not. His dad even is a doctor and was a OBGYN and tells him the same thing and he doesn’t listen. It pisses me off to where we have fought over it many times and he still doesn’t care to understand it.

Then educate him. Is he willing to read? “First time fathers” and “So you’re going to be a Dad” both by Peter Downey are both amazing books from the perspective of a man to a man but w all the empathetics of a woman and what she needs pregnant and PP. My husband was good but after reading those he was just amazing. And any IG reels you see, that will open his mind, send them to him. To make him understand

@Jordan I am so sorry you are experiencing this, I hope you are okay. It’s just so hard since it impacts your relationship but I hope you both found a way to settle everything and make him understand the circumstances. It’s just annoying that I have to put up with a third baby which is my husband 😒

@Kellie this is my second baby and he put me through a tough time with my first and he has done it again with my second.. thanks for the recommendation.. problem is he’s too ‘busy’ for anything. Your husband is a good guy.. he gave it a go but my husband would see a book like that as ‘trash’ he even said to me ‘don’t give me that PP BULLs***’ who says that! ?

Oh we haven’t but he isn’t getting anymore kids like he wants. I have told him before if he can’t understand anything that goes on with my body and hormones while all of that then he isn’t getting anymore kids. I’m not going to put myself through something to not be heard. This isn’t the early 1900s.

@Jordan I said the exact same thing sista! Hi5 to that ❤️

Honestly I feel like we are married to the same guy! Mine has said all the same things yours has said to you.
