1 cause Hubby and I can tag each other in if you're tired. Now that we have 2, the most we can do is swap lol. BUT, my kids are also going to be 2 and 4. Sometimes it's easier that there's 2 of them cause they can entertain each other while I cook dinner.
The odd numbers were hard, and the even numbers were easy. #1 Everything is new. #2 I had all the stuff and was used to the schedule. #3 outnumbered. #4 Systems in place. #5 Two different age groups doing different things. I don't have 6, but people who have 6 or more have told me the pattern continues.
Everything is hard lol
One child was a nightmare just clinginess oh just awful I'm so happy to have more than one now cuz they entertain each other and I can get something Done now and then
1 is easier until school aged, then 2 is easier because they will play together big close in age or one can help keep an eye on the other if spaced out. But middle school/high school 1 is easier again cause schedules , school activities -clubs and sports. Either way there are benefits at times and you are screwed at times.
Going from 1-2 was easy for me (at least). They have about 5 years, 2 months apart. I like this age gap though.
@ALI this one! Lol. They come with different struggles. There are pros and cons to each so I wouldn’t say one is easier than the other.
It was definitely easier with one child, especially since they are getting older & becoming more independent by the day.
