How many weeks are you when you get c section date? (Uk based)

The Standard at my hospital is it’s booked at about 36 week appointment for in your 39th week depending on availability, unless you have any medical conditions which case they can bring it forward a few weeks x

I got my date at my 32 week consultant appt. Booked in for 39 weeks. X

I’ve got my date at 32 weeks

I found out my date at about 34 weeks and c section was scheduled for 38 weeks exactly.

In the UK usually scheduled for no later then 39 weeks to try and avoid going into labour.. usually find out date on your last consultant appointment anything from 32 weeks to 36 weeks xx

I had my date at week 34 but they came early and had to deliver week 36 :) x

I got mine at 28 weeks but i’m high risk so they’ve had to plan a whole special surgery for 39 weeks exactly 😂

i had mine two days before. i was 37 weeks it was a high risk pregnancy

I had my elective at 39+3

40+2 weeks a few people were confused when I got booked after my due date because they said it’s usually 39 weeks

I got it booked in at my 28 week scan for 38 weeks. I was high risk

I got booked for the 39th week (US)

I was always going to have an elective cesarean. Found out at 38 weeks and had it at 39+2. Derby. They gave date later so that it wouldn't get moved/cancelled/postponed etc

I was 36 weeks scheduled for 40 weeks but then it got moved to 38+6 because someone went into labour early x

I had my c section at 39+3

I’ve got my appointment to be told a date in week 36 (11th September) due 4th October

got my date at 30 weeks with twins and got it at 10 weeks with this baby.

39+1 for my elective

@Sarah oh that seems later compared to other peoples comments. I wonder if the hospital was just fully booked! That’s good to know it’s usually 39. My first was a day under 42 so I would love to shorten it a bit this time 🙈
