I had 2nd degree fear in December and mine has healed all on its own🙌🏻 x

@Remee did your stitches come off too?

yes, it will slowly heal. keep it clean and dry. I recommend to use a peri bottle and paper towels, to air as often as possible and to use a spritz for bits spray

my stitches came apart, took a little longer but did they did heal on their own. they tend to only re-do stitches if they all come apart. did they swab you to check for any signs of infection? keep an eye on it cos you want to avoid that! if it gets infected then they’ll give you antibiotics. make sure to keep it as clean as you can. i just used peri bottle and warm water in the shower and after every wee lol. my midwife advised against soap and spritz for bits spray, said water was better. i hope it heals up soon xxx

Yeah little bits did in the tissue but that’s normal xx

Of course you will heal! The body was designed to heal itself from birth tearing. Some people even think that stitches actually hinder the natural healing process and introduce more scar tissue, nerve damage, etc. The most important thing is hygiene and REST.
