I had to pay privately online to get mine as neither my midwife or doctor did mine

@Sarah was there a reason why they didn’t? If you don’t mind me asking how much did you pay

They just said they used to do them but have stopped doing them now. I think I paid £40 for it

Wow! Who did you use and did you have to wait a couple of days to receive the certificate?

I put in fit to fly pregnancy note and loads of different companies came up i can't remember the exact one i used but you will need all your notes to fill questions in. And if they accept it I got emailed that day

Oh ok!! Thank you 😊

No problem xx

I’m in Australia so maybe different, but my midwife at the hospital just typed me out a letter with a few lines saying I was fit to fly. I was about 7 months pregnant and no one stopped me to ask for anything on the flight

I've got an appointment for one with the midwife 3 days before we fly! Don't think I'll need it, as didn't need any flying when I was pregnant before! Just let your midwife know (UK) x

I got one from my (UK) GP. There was no charge and he seemed to have a template for it.

UK - I asked the antenatal department and a midwife wrote me one

Midwife provides it! Xx

Thank you
