@Avani i’ve noticed my daughter will do it towards the end of a feeding or if she’s really tired. When she does i tell her no biting and then i saw we’re done eating in hopes that she starts seeing that if she bites we won’t get the nipple anymore. Idk if this is bad tho 😭
Mine seems to just play around or "test boundaries" I think😅 but yeah very painful feels like a needle
Mine has six teeth and he is doing this!! 😭 He'll do it for fun and give me a huge smile to see how I react. He did it for about two weeks and as of a few days ago he isn't 🤞
My son started getting teeth at 3 months, by 6 month he had 3 in on the bottom and 2 on top. I know how you’re feeling… as hard as it is, try not to react too much. I would unlatch and take a break (usually about a minute). During that time I wouldn’t look at him or interact. Then I’d offer the other side and go back to the first side later. I’d also have to remind myself to relax once I started feeding again, I would be super tense in anticipation for another bite. He learned pretty quick that biting equals no more milk. He’ll be 11 months next week and I still nurse once in the morning, he has 12 teeth and I haven’t been bitten in months.
Going through the same😕 I feel you fellow mama. I walk away for 5 mins or make her sit in front of me in a kind of this is not right attitude. Not sure if it helps but I am hoping it does. Trying to reinforce that this is negative behavior. A lactation consultant suggested this way long long time back.
