Struggling to cope 😩

I know we’re all in the thick of this regression but damn I am STRUGGLING. Sleep has completely deteriorated in the last two weeks. We now can’t even get one hour stretches, I’m currently in a hole of doom while he sleeps on me after his fifth wake up tonight and it’s only midnight!!! He’s 4 months this week and I am so desperate now that I’m going to try Ferber tomorrow night. I always said Ferber would be too much for me but I feel like I simply cannot go on like this and need to do something. Please can anyone share if they’ve done any sleep training yet or with previous babies? (Please I am not looking for opinions about whether it’s right or wrong as I know it’s not for everyone. At this point I just need to do what’s going to get my family more sleep so 🙏🏼)

I’m in the same boat…5th wake up so far and will not settle for my partner, just screams until he has a boob in his mouth 😩

No advice. 5th wake-up here, too. Also turning 4m this week. Cried most of yesterday. I'm too tired to function.

Also in this hole. 5am 9th wake up, screaming unless feeding, really really struggling.

Have you considered co sleeping? It's the only thing that got me through with my first. Have a look at safe sleep 7 for info if you'd be interested in trying it xxx

No real advice I'm afraid my little boy is nearly 5 months and I think we are starting to crawl out the other side of the regression and he started it well early so it felt like we were in it forever. I've had 2 nights this week where he's slept through and it's been the reset I needed but it was a tough ride to get here. Only thing I can say is it does end eventually and whatever you need to do to push yourself through it do it if it's right for you x

@Holley how early are we talking? Ours started at 11 weeks and now heading towards 17/4 months so wondering if we still have a good few weeks left!!

@Gemma about 12/13 weeks he started and he's erm I think 20 weeks. It's literally like the last 4 or 5 days it's like he woke up one morning and went right now that's over onto other things. I am being cautiously optimistic though it wouldnt be the first time I've thought he was over something only to go surprise mummy

It will end, you will get through it, unfortunately some babies take longer to get through it, my little one started regression at 13 weeks and is only just coming out of it she’s 19 weeks now and has gone from waking every hour to waking once a night. Do you have anyone that can support you and make it a little easier?

@Charlotte did this happen with completely no changes on your part or did you do anything to help her out?

@Gemma no I literally just rode it out and did what I could to get through it, mainly lots of coffee 😅 it was exhausting but it does end

@Charlotte giving me hope 🙏🙏🙏
