My little boy is 6 days old and I can’t sleep because he prefers to sleep in my arms than the Moses basket!

I have the same with my 3wk old. We’ve nicknamed her spider monkey as she clings on and likes to sleep on me. Nights we manage 9-12 in crib then 12-2 on me before we wake and want feeding. She’s fine back down at 2.45 so will see how long she goes in her crib now.
You could also look into safe co-sleeping if you feel comfortable doing that. I’ve been co-sleeping with my 12 day old since day 1 as it lets me get some sleep! If you follow all the safe sleep rules then it’s a safe option. Check out happy co-sleeper and the Lullaby Trust. Hope you find a way that works for you and you get some sleep soon!

It’s perfectly normal at this age, look up the 4th trimester. If you have a partner take it in shifts to sleep, either have them watch you sleep with baby for a couple of hours or take it in turns staying awake holding baby. This is what we did with our first and are now having to do it with our second. Only way I’d get any sleep x
