Induced
I’m lucky enough to have had quite a healthy pregnancy so far, but after being sent up the hospital yesterday I’m being induced tomorrow - If it needs to be done then it needs to be done but it’s just a bit of a shock. Has anyone got any induced stories?

I had a healthy pregnancy and was induced due to me requesting it. I was 0cm in the morning of my induction and was given the pessary that they take out the following morning. They would come in every few hours to monitor babys heart beat and to see if I was contracting they told me I was contracting maybe a few hours later I was surprised as I wasn’t in any pain. By 4/5pm the pains were getting stronger so I ended up having a bath. After the bath it got alot stronger and I requested the pessary to be taken out. They checked to see if I I had progressed I was 2cm. They said the contractions should stop now that she had removed the pessary and that they would book me in to have my water broken. As soon as she left they popped on their own and was taken down to labour ward which then I was 5cm then within 10 mins I was ready to push just used gas and air. Overall it was the best experience ever and I was very nervous as I always see bad stories about being induced.
