Still allergy??

Hi ladies, my baby was diagnosed with CMPA when she was 10 days old, she had blood in her poo. She is EBF and I started doing the diet (dairy, soy and egg free) back then, after 6 weeks the blood disappeared but she now has very watery poos, right color (yellow) and sometimes very often that make me think that she got diarrhea. I can see that she sometimes gets tummy aches and lots of wind and she her stomach keeps growling. Does this mean that she still has symptoms and that something that I’m eating is causing the problem? I have put a lot of effort into this diet and really want to keep breastfeeding but I’m scared that im making her ill and I don’t know what else to cut If you have any suggestions I would appreciate Thanks 😊

My little one was diagnosed with CMPA because of yellow diarrhoea. Maybe have a word with your GP or dietitian and they might be able to point you in the right direction x

My baby, had blood in stools days after being born and put down to CMPA …for at least 6-8 weeks he continued to have watery, yellow poos, sometimes with mucus but blood stopped once on Nutramigen formula. It felt like all he did was poo. I think sometimes you have to ride the wave and hopefully it will all settle down. He’s now a happy 6 month but it’s such a minefield at first x

Sorry, no advice, just wanted to show some solidarity- I’ve been dairy, soya, egg & wheat free for months and my LO still has mucous in every nappy and sometimes dots/ flecks of blood. I challenged wheat and the blood got worse so assumed an allergy and stopped! I have to challenge egg next to see if I can reintroduce it to my very limited diet before I cut anything else out as I’ve lost a lot of weight. My LO refused an amino acid formula after trialling it- it did go horrendously and has now developed a bottle aversion 😬 apart from a feeding tube, I really don’t know what to do anymore.

@Jade oooh I’m so sorry! I know how you feel! It’s very frustrating. I hope your LO gets better

@Abbie thanks 😊

@Jennifer thanks 😊
