I had a small amount and MAU did a test to check it. Thankfully it wasn’t amniotic, but they said better safe than sorry.
Better to be safe than sorry! do the lay down test. Put a pad on, Lay down for 20/30 minutes and then sit up. If the pad gets wet then I’d phone and tell them xx
Always get checked! With my first I just had some leaking fluid, that I genuinely believed was urine, had a tiny bit of blood in it and when they checked me in triage my waters broke! They can do a quick and easy test that will tell you within 5 mins if it’s amniotic fluid or if you’re likely to go into labour in the next 2 weeks!
I had this with my first pregnancy and it was amniotic fluid so definitely get it checked as baby could be at risk. The feeling was very similar like when you’re on your period and you stand up and get the gushing feeling. It was never loads but it got completely uncontrollable. Happened to me at 33 weeks. Baby came naturally at 35+2
I had this a few weeks ago and it’s carried on. I rang triage and went in for checks. They said it was watery discharge ( it really was like water ! ) all was fine but it’s been like it ever since. Always good to just get checked to make sure you’re not leaking amniotic fluid. X
I’ve got that atm may be amniotic fluid I’d definitely call
