yeah, that sounds pretty normal for that age, my little one was the same way, it can be tough to squeeze stuff in! this is what the 'Heal App' mentioned… hope it helps! "It's quite common for little ones to have shorter wake windows, especially in the early months. A wake window of less than an hour can be typical for younger infants, as they often need more frequent naps to support their growth and development. If you're spending a significant portion of that time nursing and handling diaper changes, it can feel challenging to find time for other tasks. To help manage this, consider trying to establish a routine where you can combine activities, like nursing while reading or engaging in gentle play. How old is your little one, and have you noticed any patterns in their sleep or wakefulness that might help you plan your day better?
I'm pretty sure mine has FOMO all day because he can stay awake for it to 2 hours before deciding he needs a nap.
My little guy (15 weeks) is doing about an hour and 20 min to 2 hour wake windows. It seems his wake windows get longer as the day goes on. And sometimes it depends on how well his nap was.
@Susan This makes me feel better about my situation lol. Thank you! Btw, do you have subscriptions for this Heal app? Also it seems conversational, can we chat with the app by asking more questions etc?
@Liz hmm I see. mine is 11w. So, the wake window increases over time I guess!?
Yes I believe so! I think at this age, 2 hours is kind of max, but obviously depends on the baby!
My boy is 3 months old, and his are usually 2 to 3 hours long. The closer he gets to 3 hours, the grumpier he gets. He has a major case of FOMO and wants to be involved in EVERYTHING I'm doing. Even if I'm just trying to make lunch
my twins are a year old. usually waking up around 10am and taking there first nap by 4pm then waking up by 5 and going back to sleep at 9-10 pm.
