I’ll be 31 weeks tomorrow and she’s still breech. I can see her head poking out at the top of my uterus. Midwives don’t seem to be worried but I am. It’s odd because both of my previous babies were head down from the get go and she’s stubbornly refusing to go that way
I had a growth scan at 30 weeks which showed him/her head down and my 31 week appointment I was 3/5 engaged but I know baby is moving round lots aswell so I don’t think he/she stays head down anyway!
Baby was breech at my last 2 midwife appointments. Had a growth scan where they said head down but midwife again this week for 34 weeks and keen to see if he's still head down or if he's turned back 🤞🤞 not sure after which point he's unlikely to turn back 🤔
I’m 32+5 and she’s still very much head up bum down, I’ve been told not to worry until my scan at 36 weeks but that seems later than other people have been told - I’m worried so have started some of the spinning babies suggestions already x
@Chloe To be fair I was surprised that my hospital start to intervene so early but they are super keen to support vaginal birth where possible (and obviously if that’s what you’re aiming for). I gave birth to my 3 and 2 year olds in North Yorkshire and they were nowhere near as helpful 😂 It’s crazy how different care can differ hospital to hospital!
@Gemma definitely so strange how different trusts operate! I’m hoping for vaginal either way, but I’m not sure how supportive mine will be of that as they have quite a high c section rate x
My baby is transverse and I’m 33+3. Don’t worry too much, still plenty of time!
I'm 32+4 and she turned a few weeks ago
My first pregnancy my baby turned at 36 weeks and this pregnancy baby was breech at 28 week scan and have another scan in 3ish weeks for growth so will see then.
Does anyone else feel their baby move from transverse, head down, left and right? I’m 34 weeks and feel like she shouldn’t have this much room to move this this? 😭
@Imogen YESSSS! Like how do they have so much room right now
@Imogen yeah I feel it moving left and right but hardly ever feel it kicking anymore! I roll like a rotisserie chicken though so maybe it’s like it’s mumma 🤣
@Imogen I am 34 weeks and he moves up, down, right and left all day long😂 Still plenty of time and room. I had a scan last week and they confirmed it doesn’t matter how they are positioned until 36-37 weeks and even then they still have time to turn
32+2 today and got my growth scan this afternoon but also checking to see if she’s still breech, if she is I’m being referred to the breech consultant to try and start getting her moved. I haven’t felt any big movements that makes me think she’s turned and all movements I’ve felt are in the same spot but keeping everything crossed she’s already done it herself!
