Appointment a week before c section
Just reading up on c sections, I have my first planned one in less than a week and it says on the NHS website that a week before you have an appointment and are given antibiotics. I haven't had this. I was told to just go in two days before for a blood test and call the day before for my time slot. Is this correct? I'll be at pinderfields.

I’m having mine at pinderfields went in the day before for my bloods and was told by the nurse she’d never heard of being given a tablet before a c section she made out like I was making it up 😂 i didn’t sign any consent forms or have my pre-op until the day. I also called the day before for my time slot x

I had my section on 11/3 and i just went in on 9/3 and get bloods done, then called 2pm on 10/3 for my time slot, didn’t have any antibiotics given prior or anything else, that was at pinderfields☺️
