If your waters breaking were the first sign of labour with your first, was this the case for your next/second?

My waters breaking were the first sign of labour when I had my first baby. Contractions etc came later. Just curious if any Mama’s who had the same and have given birth again, did the same thing happen?

My waters went first with my first baby. Then contractions. I’ve just had my second and I had contractions first, the hospital had to break my waters

With my first my water went first. Second they didn't go until I pushed hos head out!

My contractions came first with my second

I had contractions far apart for 15 hours then I had them 12-15 minutes apart and my water broke 45 minutes later and then they were 4 minutes apart 😂😂 safe to say we were flooring it to hospital.

I had 2 kids and my water never broke for either pregnancy. I had contractions first and then later at the hospital had to have my water broken by the nurse

Curious abt this too as my waters broke first (though I started contracting pretty much immediately after), my waters breaking first is what ended up being the reason I couldn’t have a home birth so I really hope I can for the next one

Yes, with my first, my water broke and then I started getting contractions. Whole labor and delivery was about 12 1/2 hours. I was 39 weeks + 2 days. With my second, I had a membrane sweep done at my last appointment and about 12 hours later I immediately started getting intense contractions (consistent with the 5-1-1 rule). My water broke an hour or two later at the hospital. Labor and delivery for the second one was only about 4 hours. I was exactly 40 weeks

Waters first bloody show second no waters until broken at 7cm

My waters went first with my 1st baby. My 2nd baby my waters broke as she was coming out🤣

With my first water broke then contraction started like 1 hr later and with my second it was contractions (water didn’t break
