Exactly what Charley said above! I had a mixed growth and had to redo it. I didn’t realise you needed to do midstream 🫣. I redid it and it again and it came back as a normal result ☺️

There's nothing to panic about so try not to worry. The midwife has it under control and by doing another sample you're getting the answers you need. When you do a urine sample, make sure you're doing a true mid stream sample. Most of the bacteria growth seen in urine samples is actually from the skin. So start weeing into the toilet, without stopping put the sample tub into the stream of urine, and then remove it. This way you minimise the amount of skin bacteria that's in the sample.
