My little girl has had a duvet and pillow since she was 12 months. However she always kicks off the duvet. She just likes to cuddle it not be under it xx
We introduced the pillow and duvet when our son was 16 months but reverted back to the sleeping bag when he kept waking up cold. He's recently gone back to using the duvet because he's almost outgrown he's sleeping bag. As long as a baby/toddler can safely pull a blanket off their head when there awake is safe to use a pillow/duvet at night time
https://amzn.eu/d/7lg3PlU we got this one as I was worried about him getting tangled up in a duvet cover
My son has a pillow and has had on me for quite some time, he loves it and sleep so well with it. He properly lays his head on it and it makes his sleep space seem a little cosier. I’m going to introduce a blanket soon once the warmer weather comes in and I don’t need to worry so much about him being cold x
So we've given a pillow a few months back as we mostly cosleep and she was always on my pillow anyways 🙄. In her bed, she still has a sleeping bag most nights (sometimes a blanket). But in our bed, she's under our duvet. However, having said that she's mostly on top of the duvet
Thank you all for your recs and advice! I think il try him with a pillow to begin and bring a duvet in maybe when he needs a new sleep bag! Xx
No problem sounds like a good idea and with the slightly warmer weather it's a good time to do it
Whenever you feel ready. My little boy loves his duvet and will tuck himself up with it, but if he gets too warm he can move it off by himself which is great as I know he won't get too hot. Weve used a pillow and duvet since around 12 months x
