Back pain and rib pain

Guys I'm struggling with this back and rib pain that usually gets triggered by sitting down. I'm at a point where driving and sitting down on sofas/chairs, restaurants triggers such awful pain. Shall I start the gym or do some sort of pregnancy exercises. Please can I get some advice as it's affecting my day to day life and I now either lie down or stand instead to watch tv or relax.

I went to the GP last week with symptoms of pelvic girdle pain, and asked to be referred to a physio. Gp mentioned that there's a long waiting list for physio appointments and that i mightve had my baby by the time i get to see one. Anyway, I got a call today and I have an appointment for next week, so might be worth a try getting a physio referral.
