Deep heat alternative?
28 weeks with twins and the rib pain is unreal. I know we can't use deep heat or ibuprofen gel but has anyone found an alternative ?? Thank you.

@Gabbie poor you!! I think mine is muscular :( paracetamol is rubbish! Can your GP give you codeine? I got it prescribed for sciatica xx
@Mollie I’m going to the hospital today for an appointment anyway so going to ask if they can have a look and see if they can prescribe something stronger
I’ve got a bruised rib (no twins just a very active baby and not a lot of room!) and was told just to take paracetamol but if the pain got too much they could prescribe codeine. X
I’ve also got bruised ribs at the moment from a 5 week long illness - the pain got so bad that they prescribed dihydrocodiene and it’s really helped!

Currently dealing with a possible fractured rib at 33 weeks and was thinking the same as paracetamol is not touching the surface 😭
