Sometimes when my baby is really going for it he can make himself cough and gag it's horrible but always is ok afterwards he just gets himself so worked up and nothing will calm him down even all the things they tell us to do in the antenatal classes especially before a nap because he hates going to sleep
@Anneliese it started off in the car. Escalating because I was driving and could not comfort her. But last night she got like this when we were trying to put her to sleep (we think she had gas. She’s cried from trapped wind & tiredness before, but not like this)
We had what you are describing this inconsolable cry for about 2 months and we were so worried that we went to see a paediatrician. It turn out that babies he was fine and he was just extremely tired. He gave us some advice on how to make sure we are not letting him become overtired and it has been over 1 month that we haven’t heard him cry like that.
@Cristina glad your LO’s crying is better! Yes I think being over tired has caused some crying. We got her down earlier last night & we had no crying so think an earlier bedtime was needed!
Has she been crying like this when just in the car or do you mean in general?
