I agree, I had a “friend” who has a history of having a sob story how she needs money & she’s always starting a new job in two weeks but then is on a vacation- she reached out a few months ago with the another sob story & when I told her that I wasn’t able to give her anything because I was pregnant- in the SAME conversation she asked for the registry & how she wanted to get the baby something. 🙃🤨 how are you gonna get her something when you allegedly don’t have a job? I felt like she wanted to be nosey- I told her not to worry about it ask I knew she was encountering tough times. I’m sick of humans lol
Yessss!!!! literally encountered this last month and what’s even more crazy no one from my friend group showed up🤦🏽♀️ I’m Just grateful for my husband helping me through this
I just made someone feel soooo awkward about this because it's late enough in my pregnancy we just bought everything we really needed with the registry discount. She asked if there was anything we still needed and I told her straight-up she was too late but thanked her for the thought.
Like I was VERY open about my registry and where to find it and we got such a small amount from it. Anything was appreciated and helpful but it's the people who asked for it and bought nothing that irk me.

@Jestina I’m sorry to hear that momma. I feel the same way. My best friend hasn’t been present during my pregnancy& still hasn’t bought the baby anything but is now making the attempt to call me on a daily basis because she’s afraid that I’ll go into labor & not tell her. I told her no one is going know but she’s really afraid that she’s gonna be left out the loop.
Girl! YES! I’ve encountered this a few times during my pregnancy & it’s most definitely the most annoying thing ever. People are just nosey & I feel like it’s to see if you know what’s needed for the child.
