Potty training

Yeah she knows exactly what to do, but won't do it.

I have the opposite problem, my little one is insisting on going every 5 minutes and it’s exhausting me. Obvs just trickles xx

My boy is 2, nearly 2.5 years old and he will wee on his potty absolutely fine (wearing nothing) but if he has pants on he is more likely to have an accident so have just opted for commando which helps him know not to have an accident As for pooing on the potty he doesn’t want to know. But I think it’s pretty normal at this he

Ours sometimes wee’s on it before bed but we don’t actually encourage it as we’ve got a newborn too so it’s been really full on. He doesn’t seem too fussed himself though. If we can & he wants to we are going to try train him this summer.

I’ve just potty trained my little boy (he’s 2 and a half) I read the book “Oh Crap! Potty Training” before we started and found that this reassured me massively! We stayed at home for 3 days with him naked from the waist down and then introduced trousers with no pants for a good week and then cause of no accidents we introduced pants! I had a travel potty and normal potty as well as steps for the toilet and just made sure all were visible and he had easy access! I made sure he was drinking plenty and just kept asking him if he needed and wee or poo and made a big deal after each one Defo think the book was the main thing that helped me understand and choose the best way for us x
