Milk came in??

My milk is in on my left boob but not my right. It’s to the point where it drips out now. I’m 33 weeks with my first baby and I’m scared that it means she’s coming soon. Also should I start pumping? I don’t know anything about being pregnant so any info will help.

They recommend to not pump as can induce earlier labour. I would speak to your midwife to get the correct advise. But, I’d be collecting that colostrum and freezing it!

@Holly thank you!!

It's not recommended to pump before baby is here. Leaking colostrum is normal. If you're concerned call your doctor. I've been leaking for a week or two at this point, it does not mean your baby is coming. This happened my first pregnancy too so I understand. I was very confused why I kept feeling wet and then realized it was my milk. It's just your body preparing for the baby.

I would not pump but you can get collector cups to wear and you can save that milk still. 😊
