If you had a straightforward c-section with no complications at norwich and norfolk hosp how long after your procedure did they let you come home?
Please no stories about if you had complications and gory details and prolonged stays, I am due a c-section very soon and after having my own traumatic emergency c section with my first, i am scared enough so please no stories, thank you.

Usually if no complications you are discharged the day after the c section 😀
I had a c section after labour didn’t progress so technically classed as emergency and little boy born at 10:42pm and home by 10pm the next night 😊 x
They let you go around 24 hours later so long as the catheter has come out, baby is feeding ok and your pain is manageable, plus no complications. Sometimes it can take a little bit longer with the paperwork and discharging you
Had mine at 1400 and was released at 1900 the next day. Would have been sooner if I didn’t have to wait for Nicu to do a blood test for my baby.
The day after 😉 you'll be fine, the hospital is very good and the staff are great. A planned csection is so much nicer than an emergency
