@Sarah yeah this is my second and my first was confirmed teething at 4 months by his pediatrician but didn’t get his first tooth until 10 months. That’s why I know it may be a coincidence. I was just surprised by how much I could see the tooth
So it's very much possible. My sister in laws 2nd son got his first 2 teeth at 2 months. He has 8-10 teeth by the time he was 6 months old
I’m mostly curious about the order. I know it may be a while before the tooth pops through, but I’m curious how often teeth erupt in a different order
Gotcha. I definitely could see them but the other teeth ended up overtaking poking through first anyway.
@Sarah thank you! I was thinking it could just be since her gums are curved there. I can’t remember what my son’s mouth looked like at this age lol
Ha. You never know! Every baby is different. I hear that so often and it's just so true. I only remember because her nana kept saying "oh they're coming through any day now" and kept asking to give her Tylenol 🙄. And we just wanted her to let the theory go after so long. This could very well be a different outcome for your December baby tho.
Not me but my sister’s baby’s teeth came in totally out of order. Never ended being an issue, I think it just happens sometimes!
my baby is going through the same thing rn! she’s 4 months and poor girl has been going through it. her bottom right incisor is starting to poke and she’s not handling it too well
@Miah has it been affecting her sleep for a while? We already went through the 4 month sleep regression (at least I thought we did) but today she’s taken 3 naps and the longest one was an hour 🙃 she’s normally asleep at 7-7:30 and I’m here 2 hours later trying to put her to sleep again. But I haven’t seen any teeth actually poking through the gums so idk
I thought my first was teething around this age....it took another 14 months for them to actually cut through her gums.
