Hey! My wee one has said a few words too like you mama, dada and yeah. He has said more but he doesn’t repeat them constantly. Was he a fast walker/crawler? Xx
Aww thanks for the replies, makes me feel better that it’s not just us! He’s just started walking in the last month or so. I see lots of little ones with tons of words which is amazing but it makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong! X
Same here! He talks his own language non stop😂 but no actual real words except a couple as well x
@Ell’e hope post author will allow, just saw your comment.. our boy started crawling and walking very early and learned very quickly. Is that something related to speech?😂x
@Charlotte it’s so hard not to compare I do the exact same and think how can these other babies have such big vocabularies. Try not to worry I think its when they are 24-30 months if still not talking much they would get speech therapy so try not worry (even tho it’s really hard) xxx
Lots of chatting and words that sound like words but not often in context so I don't count it as proper talking xxx
Same here. I find his babbling adorable and will definitely miss it so I’m not in any rush for him to talk. I noticed he understands simple words now like milk and more which is good and he’s starting to sign for milk now with intermittent success 😅

My little girl exact same she can say it but she will babble more than using words , except hiya if we are out she will say hiya to everyone and anyone xx
No word other than mama and botbot for milk - she was walking at 10 months though 🤷🏻♀️

Same here plenty of babbling and screaming 🤣 but no actual words just yet. My lb has only just started waving to. I was worried but they will find it in there own time 😊

My baby has no words
Same here - lots of noises, but real words seem more like coincidence still, or depend on her mood. She definitely understands a lot though which is lovely to see. My first was slow to start talking too, but now is a very chatty 3.5 year old!
