Natural induction

Hi guys, do you think 37 weeks is too early to do things to ‘naturally induce’ labour… I’m getting impatient for baby to come and I know some things work better than others and some things take more time and some things don’t work at all! I have a section booked for 41 weeks so trying to get baby out sooner!

I'm 36+1 and I said to myself as soon as I hit 37 weeks I'm trying everything to get him out xxx

I’m doing this from Monday - colostrum harvesting if I can , bouncing on the ball , raspberry tea capsules ( cant stand tea lol ) and whatever maybe xx I’m soo exhausted now I’m ready to have my body back xx

37 week sis considered full term so crack on!

Honestly you can drive yourself mad trying everything you can to get baby out but they really will just come when they’re ready. I went at 39 weeks exactly with my first and 39+1 with my second and I tried everything both times from 37 weeks and nothing seemed to work then I just randomly got contractions and 2 hours later my first was born then randomly got contractions again and with my second it was only an hour and a half between the first contraction and him shooting out of me 😂😂 I’m not doing anything with my third and I’m almost 38 weeks atm so we’ll see what happens 😅

all the things that “naturally induce” are just coincidence. babies come when they’re ready. walking, yoga ball bouncing, eating dates, sex, etc all those things won’t hurt but you can’t put too much pressure on it to really make a difference

I tried everything in the book for 4 weeks and my baby still came 9 days late! I think some babies are stubborn regardless of all the ‘old wives tale’ methods x
