Scared of loud noises, do I take him to Doctors/HV

My little one is really really scared of loud/different noises, like the hoover, a hair dryer, hand dryer, electric whisk I’m sure you get the gist. Do you think I need to be raising this with the doctor or health visitor? I’m not worried about development anywhere else besides the being frightened of loud noises. I wasn’t overly worried about it until people told me to get him checked. We have tried all kinds to get him used to the sounds and although he is ever slightly better he is still absolutely beside himself if there is any of those sounds.

It's very common for young children and babies to be scared of those noises. You can discuss with your health visitor if you wish and desire support but I wouldn't be worried at this age my 17 month olds the same we got her ear defenders for loud situation (she wouldn't settle in public at all from very young because of noises), and my 3 year old still jumps at the hand dryers etc as it's unexpected noise
