I couldn't carry my daughter in ours by the time she was 9 months old, she was too heavy for me.
Definitely worth it! I'm due with baby #3 and already have 3 different carriers 😂
I've just started to use one for my 3 month old baby and it's so great for when we go out to busy places and don't have anything to bump into people
Get a hip seat! Baby will love it, and it's a lot less fuss than dealing with straps and clips all the time. The only time I used the carrier is when I wanted/needed to walk my son to sleep.
Definitely worth it but please look up and get advice from specialists on how to baby wear safety
Yes, 100% worth it. I got a ring sling and a wrap, and my husband got a baby carrier with our first. He used the carrier all the time and baby loved it. I didn’t use them as much with my first but I use them all the time with my second so that I can do stuff with my toddler
Visit your local baby wearing sling library to work out what carrier suits your body, your needs and your choices. I started off with a close caboo, then stretchy wrap and then as baby got older use a buckle carrier mamaruga zebulo. In the early stages I used the carriers sooooo much. I still use regularly now at nearly 18 months. However I do also use my double pram on a regular basis. Loads of people will suggest hip seats etc and these are not hands free!
I would say worth it, but only if you get one that is comfy and supportive for you. I'd try some out at a sling library if you can (there are lots that do postal hires and online advice/consultations) because what suits others might not suit you. I'd also suggest one that you can use for front carrying now and back carrying later because that's much easier when they're bigger and heavier
yes absolutely. i really liked the solly baby wrap
Yes I used one with my second and helped so much with getting things done. The only thing is it can put strain on your back so couldn't wear for long periods of time
