I recommend a duvet own pillow they were the best things I had in hospital!! Xx
Water wipes or cotton wool and a bowl if you’re doing it that way. Nappies Maxi pads Knickers Blanket for baby or sleepbag At least 4-5 sleepsuits and vests 2 pairs of pjs for you and change of clothes A towel to wash Small toiletries bag with shower gel, Facewash, toothbrush, hair brush Crocs or flipflops Tens machine Muslins for baby Make a note to pack colostrum with a cool block on the bag Hospital notes Water bottle Mixture of snacks, sweets, protein bars etc Can’t remember if there’s anything else!
I sorted all babies clothes & my clothes into clear bags so I could easily get to things (got the ikea sandwich bags), sorted them by size and type. And then have a separate clear bag with a nappy / outfit incase your partner needs to get some baby things together after a c section or something so it is easy to hand. Adult nappies are easy to wear and feel leak proof. I mainly wore pjs and a dressing gown and slippers (was in for 5 days) Toiletries. I had loads of snacks and then had an epidural and couldn’t eat them. But I did eat them afterwards. Depending on how you plan to feed baby then any milk you may need if formula feeding. The pre made bottles with the teats. Own pillow is a must

I had a big bag of stuff and ended up hardly using half of it! That was with my first LO 2023 But things I did use Nappies Water wipes Baby grows and hats -Adult disposable pants I got mine from Costco worked a charm! -I got electrolyte isotonic gels or drinks to have which I had during labour to keep energy up along with sweets and snacks -Nightie, bikini top of water birthing, easy access pj top I got Tesco button up pjs which were super comfy -Bluetooth speaker, phone, charger, maybe some battery operated candles if having hypnobirthing 1A birthing playlist phase 1 upbeat songs phase to relaxed and sentimental etc -comfy going home outfit - I took some ready made formula bottles in case I couldn’t breast feed I think this time I will defo be taking ear plugs I found the ward more traumatising than the birth! A comfy pillow Eye mask regardless of this I don’t think we will sleep much we will be busy in awe of these little humans And all else fails a shop will be close by

@Emma aww how exciting 🥹💕 hey! How are you finding it? X
A comfy pillow (hospital ones are terrible), a portable fan, phone charger, any medications your on if any, I'd say 2/3 baby onesies(outfits) in new born and 0-3, easy access top if you plan to breastfeed, maternity pads/disposable underwear, normal underwear, snacks, drink/bottle, baby blanket, loose clothing for comfort, something for entertainment if your kept in, easy to put on shoes, nappies for little one, hair brush, bobbles/hair ties, toiletries and can't think of anything else at the moment, some of this is personal choice but just thought I'd say everything haha
