Prolapse help

Desperate for some advice! I have a hard lump bulging out down below which has been causing discomfort for months. Went to gp who couldn’t see it at the time but just recommended pelvic floor exercises. As time is going on this hard lump is getting worse and more uncomfortable, does this definitely sound like a prolapse to anyone that has had one?

I'm not sure where you live but see if there is a pelvic health team in your area with the NHS as they help with exactly this. If not contact your midwife she might be able to point you in the right direction. They are supposed to support you after birth with this stuff but funding has been limited!!! This is Devons https://myhealth-devon.nhs.uk/local-services/pelvic-health/

I had similar. It wasn't prolapse but very weak pelvic floor and basically because the tissue between vagina and anus is very stretched when I was constipated I could feel the poo on the other side of the wall if that makes sense. My GP was useless so went to a women's physio. Was given exercises and I also use these weights called secret whispers which help a lot. And I have a spoon of flax seed and eat a kiwi with skin on every day to keep things moving. All really helped. But you need to see someone to know what help is right for you. For me the weakness is towards my bum so could feel the bulge and struggled to poo. Also, knees up to poo on a squatty potty (I use a toddler step). I don't have wee leakage as not got issues that side. Good luck with it, I was panic stricken until I got good advice xxx

@Robyn thank you I’ll have a look! Xx

@Jane sooo glad you have said this as it is only ever worse when I am constipated! Given me so much clarity so thank you ❤️ will definitely be trying all of this xxxx
