My 4 month old usually sleeps a longer stretch in the beginning of the night, but still wakes up 2-3 times. Sometimes she’s up just kicking and talking for an hour or so in the early morning. I personally do play-eat-sleep, that’s what works for us. Her naps have been short and further apart. I try to do the recommended tummy time split throughout the day, we usually go for a walk with her in the carrier, read her books, and try to keep her entertained and content but it’s harder as the day goes on. It’s really hard some days, I feel you girl.
@Rachel my boy is 16 months old now and he’s walking constantly all day so you’d think he’d be knackered from that but no! I’m exhausted
@Sarah still don’t see any light at 16 months. I don’t know what else I can do
I don’t see any light either. You just have to go with it. I have paid for 3 sleep consultants and they can’t help me. Some babies/ toddlers have low sleep needs.
Oh 16 month old! Haha my apologies, I guess I didn’t read your post well enough. I’m so sorry, that sounds exhausting and I would be so tired too. Mines not even walking yet so I can’t imagine.
18 month old still wakes every hour some nights. Unfortunately it’s normal to wake frequently until around 4 years of age x
Honestly my son is 15 months and it’s such a minefield, he has fomo so badly even when he’s just playing that he has 1 nap a day and it depends on how early he wakes up, normally, he wakes up between 6&7:30, has breakfast, plays for hours, we go for a lil walk, he’ll have a nap between 11:30&3 depending on how tired he is and that nap is only an hour long 😭😭 then bed between 8&9 x
My baby has never slept through. 14months they will do it in there own time don’t panic. I know it hard and I have your tired but just go with itb
