Sleeping issues

Our 21 month old has suddenly started waking every few hours crying hysterically and won't go back to sleep until we either get him out and cuddle him to sleep or get him in our bed. It's so frustrating, there's nothing visibly wrong with him - no illness or anything and he eats well so not hungry. Anyone else been/going through the same?

I’m currently going through the same and the only thing I can put it down to is that she’s got her last teeth coming through as she’s also dribbling a lot! Last 2 nights have been awful but last night wasn’t as bad!

Same. I did read that this is the age when night terrors can start but it also depends. We seem to be getting growth spurts of waking up screaming due to hunger but sometimes I can tell it’s been a nightmare

I went through this about 1-2 months ago for a good 2-3 weeks, it was horrific and came out of no where and she wasn’t teething. I started to try and gently sleep train her again starting with my sleeping on a make shift bed on her floor because otherwise I was up every 1-2 hours.. BUT a pillow has completely changed it for us!! She now sleeps through the night again and sleeps longer for her nap then she ever did before having a pillow and it instantly made it better, after introducing the pillow she started to only wake once a night and then within a couple of days was sleeping through the night (something she never ever did before even before it got really bad again!) I keep it under her cot sheet as I feel safer her having it that way xxx
