What is your child’s height?

Hey, My husband and I get constant comments on how tall our daughter is- she is just shy of 28 months and around 86.5cm. When I look at her red book, it places her around the 50-55 percentile. I’m only 4ft11 so I’m not sure if they just think she is tall compared to me or she is actually tall. What percentile are you children on and do they get comments on being short or tall?

Mine is 26.5 months and about 88cm (13kg) and I definitely don’t think she is tall, I think she is very average. (She is at nursery so this is mainly based on her height comparative to her nursery friends of similar age. We are both tall so I expected her to be taller). Haven’t looked up percentages.

Ours is exactly the same height as yours. I think she looks smaller than most kids her age. I think they’re saying your LO is tall because they expect her to be short?

My little girl is around 83cm and everyone comments on how diddy she is…I don’t think 3cm is much bigger than that! I think some people always say babies are big / tall etc

I think it's about your height - I am 5ft3 and our eldest is normal height but people always comment how tall he is when he is with me and not when he is with his 6ft daddy 🥴
