Personal 😬

Ok so when I have sex it hurts! It never hurt before but since my c section 1 and a half years ago it has hurt! Is this normal?! Do I just need to let it hurt for it to stretch and feel good again? I’m also on the depo and after orgasms will bleed for 1 or 2 days same with after sex? Do I need to see someone or as I said just let it hurt until it feels good again?

I did not have a c section but that does not sound normal, ide get that checked out, you could have a deeper problem.. good luck anyhow 🩷

I had a c section and It hurt for me too…I could only have sex on my back for the longest so it wouldn’t hurt me. I’m not even two years recovered yet and it still can hurt in various positions. My c section healed normally and the doctors said everything looked normal. The bleeding only occurred during the first couple of months after the “okay” to have sex. I have seen tho that your body takes 2 years after having a baby. Be patient with yourself and I hope your partner understands. As long as you are communicating with your doctors honestly and everything is okay, then give yourself grace.

I didn’t have a c section but I would definitely go see someone about that, it doesn’t sound normal

Get sti checked because that sound like he gave you something if your bleeding between periods and it hurt’s definitely get checked

Yes. Nearly 7 months postpartum and things are still uncomfortable. Pelvic therapy has been a good investment (and bringing my partner to it so that he can understand why things are hurting me / what he can do to help has also been super helpful) Otherwise, experimenting with different lubrications has also been helpful too! I would recommend a visit to the doctor. My doctor was happy to see me and discuss things and was a great starting point for pelvic floor, ultrasounds and blood work!

Go see a pelvic floor therapist as that is not normal at all. A good lube can go a long way...s liquid organics hybrid is amazing. It took me a few months of exercises from a pelvic floor physio to have sex be enjoyable again but I was vaginal delivery not c section. Good luck hope it improves!
