Wake window activities/toys

4 hours?! Girl, you must be exhausted 🤣 I struggle to entertain mine with a 2 hour wake window.. lol. It will be a mix of going for a walk, play mat, in the bouncer with some toys (one of those rustling books that are good for sensory), in his buggy I have a toy that clips on and he can reach and pull things on it. We do tummy time and will put toys and teddy’s around him so he can try and reach for them, and I’ll put him in his Tripp trapp and put music on or CBeebies if I need to get any jobs done.. then i just repeat it all 🤣 my boy gets bored within a few mins, so I just rotate through these lol

Wow 4 hours! Same as above, I find 2 hours hard enough sometimes. My LO starts getting fussy about 90mins in so I’ve been trying to eek him to 2 hours but some days it’s impossible! I find popping him in the high chair when I’m doing jobs in the kitchen kills a bit of time now he is able to sit in there :-)

Same as above. Probably every 10 mins I have to move him onto something new or change his position. Play mat, water mat, chair bouncer, cot with his mobile if I need to put washing away etc. each room has something to entertain him 🤣

My little one has had a couple of days with a 4 hour wake window! It’s draining but I’ve been taking her to dobbies or pets at home to see the fish/ pets which engrosses her and she tires quicker! Also swimming she loves as she can last about 30 mins or so! She’s really nosey so loves just going out and sitting watching people 😅

@Sophie Hahahah yeah she loves a 4-5 hour wake window. I can’t remember the last time she had a wake window less than 3 and a half hours 😂 I might try some toys on the pram that’s a good shout and one I haven’t tried yet 😂

@Lauren just out of interest how are your babies sleeping with such long wake windows? Do they not get over tired?x

@Sadie hahaha that’s what I’m doing! I move her from thing to thing to thing but I think she gets bored of me doing the same every four hours 😂

@Kati defo over tired! Her nighttime sleep isn’t great. She gets a bit grumpy after 2 and a half hours so I usually try get her to sleep and then she just refuses to sleep or sometimes she’ll sleep for about 90 seconds or 5 minutes and then is awake for another hour and a half 🙃 literally cannot find any method without letting her cry to get her to nap at 2 and a half hours!
