Trapped wind and bubbles in MAM bottles

My 6 week old has been really troubled with trapped wind for the last week or so especially. He winds well during feeds, we normally get a burp after every oz but he’s still so uncomfortable, bringing his legs up and strains frequently trying to pass wind. I’ve noticed that it could be to do with his latch or the bottles we’re using? We use a swirl method to mix his formula but there seems to be a big build up of bubbles in the milk despite this and more gather during the feed. His mouth looks filled with bubbles after feeding. Should we switch bottles? Does it sound like it’s a latch issue? Any advice would be really appreciated.

Ooo I was wondering this too! I'm interested to know as we also get bubbles and have swirled, using infacol to help with wind x

If you put dentinox directly into the milk, it helps clear the bubbles. Does the same as infacol but can be added directly to the milk xx

Before switching I recommend trying the lanisoh teets they fit on mam bottles x

We are having the same issue, our LB (7weeks) isn’t sleeping properly because the wind is so bad. We’ve tried infacol, dentinox and colief and he still seems troubled by it. He will burp perfectly fine. We also swirl the bottle, il be interested to know if anyone else has any tips and tricks xx

I put a tiny drop of infacol in the bottle and that gets rid of all the bubbles

I have a boy and iv tried everything infacol different bottles different feeding positions etc it's my 4th baby so im quiet experienced with my last I used this thing that I'll attach under and it really helps baby to release gas. I understand some mom's might not be up to it as you have to insert into babies bum but it doesn't hurt baby at all xxx
