Baby startling
Does anyone else’s baby still startle a lot whilst going to sleep? She’s nearly 12 weeks. With my first he lost his startle fairly early on and my daughters just seems a lot more extreme. We are having to wean off the love to dream swaddle as she’s showing signs of rolling so last night was pretty hard! Anyone else experiencing the same problem?!

@Sara sorry to hear you’re experiencing the same! Do you find sometimes when he’s going to sleep he will startle multiple times before actually going to sleep successfully?
My 12 week old is still startling and she’s had her arms out since 4 weeks 😅
Exactly that- at least 6 startles then just crashes!

My boy is 14 weeks and his reflex is still so strong so had to order a transition sleep suit from love to dream to ease him into two arms out; he’s also rolling so have to act fast 🫣 He’s been swaddled since birth so really not liking the change - plus he’s definitely in the regression with short naps, trouble sleeping etc so it’s all going on for him 😂
