Pointing
My little boy is pointing at things - but not really at things he wants - more at things he’s noticing and that are close in range. He’s not really pointing at things across the road, or that he can’t touch. Is anyone also at this stage? Does it sound age appropriate? HV asked if he’s pointing at things he wants and I said no, as if, for example, his water was out of reach he wouldn’t point at it - he’d reach for it and whinge 🤣 he points in books etc. thanks xx

My boy is pointing at everything😂since he's learned he can do that.. And outside? Finger goes first and we follow 😂
My boy will imitate pointing if I point and say something like 'look at the rabbits outside' or 'the trees over there' he sticks his arm out straight in front of him while kind of making a fist.

My daughter does exactly the same. If she wants something she reaches for it and moans. She points at things that interest her like people/dogs/cars etc.
