Poopoo in pants 🤷‍♀️

We’ve started potty training (on day 6 now) and my daughter has done so well - I’m so proud of her. We’ve mastered going for a weewee in the potty or toilet, and if we’re out and about she’ll let me know when she needs to go which is great (no accidents so far with that). However, when it comes to doing a poopoo she keeps pooping in her pants. She’s done a poopoo in the potty once before but no matter how much I encourage her, read potty books, potty songs or bribe her with rewards she won’t actively go and do a poopoo in the potty or toilet. She’ll let me know once she’s done a poop so I can clean her… Any tips or tricks to help her with going for a poop in potty??

@Steph I hear you Mama! This potty training stuff is HARD! Especially the poo part. Mastering the skill of pooping in a potty or toilet can take some toddlers a little longer to get used to! (...aaaand lots of practice) before they eventually become comfortable pooping in a seated position sitting down on a potty or toilet. Hang in there! I think I can offer some helpful advice! I've been potty training toddlers for over 39+ years. I'm Miss Jen Potty Training Coach Here's a helpful video series about how to navigate the challenges of the "poo process" to guide you thru this stage! https://youtu.be/wF7rHz_xXMU Learning the poo part takes longer for most toddlers to catch on and get comfortable with. This is what I help families with who are struggling with your exact same issue. I offer private personalized potty training consultation appointments if you'd like some one-on-one guidance and support to help you navigate thru this. Feel free to visit my website. Let's talk!
